is it wrong of me to want the machine gone from this scene? i put my hand over it and feel greater calm, notice the nuances of the light more when man is removed.

you're not wrong about the machine, necessarily ... i dithered for a long while between two versions ... in the end, i thought the bit of colour n the corner accented the light in the trees, and i liked the sense of rural, rather than wild ... but i'm back and forth ...

I read this at the beginning of another heat wave. Now I think I shall seek pictures of winter each day for the duration.
